Schools receive most of their maintenance work during the school holidays. Sometime the structure might need attending to or the interior might need to be redecorated. During this time it can be a good idea to install plastic wall paneling in the areas that receive the heaviest traffic throughout the day. Doors and walls which are abused by heavy numbers of people walking through can be protected against the damage caused to them. The result of this can be cheaper maintenance costs throughout the year and a safer environment for both pupils and teachers.

You will definitely need to install it wherever sports and games are played. Damage is sure to occur in the area where a whole range of games are played. The walls and doors that are constantly hit with balls or rackets will be damaged each year. Marks and dents are not uncommon but plastic wall panelling will protect against this. The risk of injury to those playing the sport is also reduced as sharp corners can be eliminated.

Corridors in schools are subject to more traffic than almost any other building. Other busy areas include hospitals and busy offices, but nowhere else has as much traffic going through it regularly. Walls and doors get covered in marks and scratches from shoes and hands. Plastic wall panelling can be wiped clean with a damp cloth so there is no need to keep repainting over the marks that appear everyday.

Doors can get dirty as unclean hands push them open throughout the day so this also needs looking after regularly. Again, plastic wall protectors do not need to be repainted as the dirt can be easily washed away.

in the long term the cost of investing in plastic wall panelling is cheaper than your 6 or 12 month maintenance work, so you will be saving money over time.
